India:Unique Identification Numbers

For the citizens of the country will roll out by august/december 2010,said nadan nilekani(Former co-chairman of Infosys) chairman unique identification authority of india.(UID)
UID is a social security card to serve all purposes as in th U.S.(United States)
the Government of India to create and manage a centralized identification system for all the adult citizens and residents of India, which can be utilized for a variety of identification purposes.
